ATLAS Summative LEVEL UP - Part 2
160 scholars who LEVELED UP and met their target growth in 2 or more of the tested areas (ELA, Math, Science) and/or maintained their Level 4 status were treated to a day at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, AR. A wonderful time and occasion. Our Comets worked hard and did their best. We salute and celebrate them!

Late last month we had a wonderful and inspiring Parent Meeting at Mills Middle. Our instructional coaches shared our school's ATLAS Summative Data and parents were able to look up their child's data tracking their progress from ATLAS Interim I, II and finally the Summative. Everyone attending received books for summer reading and practice. There will be no summer slide at Comet Nation!
Thank you parents and guardians for your support in meeting the personalized academic and social needs of all of our scholars and preparing them for success. #thebestisyettocome #millsmiddleschoolcomets #summerreading

Students who plan to try out must have a completed physical on file before they can participate. If a student needs a physical form, coaches and the front office have forms available.
Students must also have their own ride home and must be picked up immediately after tryouts. Students need to wear proper athletic shoes and athletic clothes. They also need to bring knee pads for tryouts.
If you have any questions, please contact Coach Theobald or Coach West.

Nurse Appreciation Week is the perfect time to recognize our wonderful school nurses. From caring for students on campus to promoting a healthy school environment, your hard work is invaluable! 👩🏫 This week, we celebrate the teachers who impact so much of what PCSSD is. 🍎
Thank you for your creativity, consistency, and commitment that shape students’ futures — not by accident, but because of the intention and care you bring to your work every single day. #TeacherAppreciationWeek

Come out to see how hard our scholars have worked all year!

Today we’re celebrating our Champions of the Tray — the incredible nutrition professionals who prepare and serve meals to students across PCSSD. From early mornings to busy lunch lines, these heroes deliver more than food. They bring care, kindness, and community to every campus.
Their work supports student success far beyond the cafeteria, helping learners stay focused, energized, and ready to thrive in the classroom.
Join us in saying THANK YOU to your favorite lunch hero by sharing a message of appreciation below! #SchoolLunchHeroDay #PCSSDproud #ServeAll

Students must provide their own devices for any courses they elect to take. NCAA and NAIA eligibility are the responsibility of the student and parents. (see PCSSD article)
