PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. – More than 70 PCSSD Class of 2026 students earned College Board Advanced Placement Scholar recognition through their exceptional academic performance on multiple AP Exams.
AP Scholar designations are assigned to students who achieve the following criteria:
AP Scholar — Granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams.
AP Scholar with Honor* — Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.
AP Scholar with Distinction** — Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
Since the 2024 AP exams, the number of scholars in PCSSD has increased by 84%. The average score also increased by 4%, from 3.05 on the 2024 exams to 3.17 on the 2026 exams. These recognitions contribute to higher overall campus letter grades.
