As part of their "Earth Day" project, Ms. Emerson's art students created a video to go with the display at the Witt Stephens Jr. Central Arkansas Nature center. In the video, students encourage people to reduce, reuse and recycle.

April is Scottish-American Heritage Month where we celebrate the contributions of Scottish-Americans to our modern society. In 1998, Jason Emory Nickerson designed the Arkansas Traveler Tartan, which is listed on the Scottish Tartans World Register.
Ms. Emerson's 4th grade art students created a 3D art installation that is currently on display at the Witt Stephens Jr. Central Arkansas Nature center through April 23, 2022. This art highlights state symbols and the natural beauty of Arkansas.
