This evening I'm sharing with your our Wellness Plan for students on our campus as well as some information about our digital learning management system (LMS), Schoology.

Each parent should receive contact from their classroom teacher with a link to join the virtual open house using Zoom or Google Meet. You can join from your phone or your child's chromebook. You should have received their Chromebook login during Chromebook distribution this week. If you have not picked up your child's chromebook, please contact Rhonda Thomason (rthomason@pcssd.org) for your child's login or come by the school before noon tomorrow (Friday) to pick it up.
Pre-K students will have a drive through open house at 3:30 pm tomorrow (Aug. 21). Please drive through the car rider line (north driveway) to see your teacher and receive some information.
Fully digital or B students who will be virtual the first day of school will need to log on through the schoology platform on Monday. The teacher will review this process in open house and communicate times. Students can access Schoology by logging into their chromebooks and logging into the PCSSD portal. They will select the Schoology app from the portal. They will not need a separate password.
Please extend us some grace as we are working diligently to make this process as smooth as possible. I'm sure there will be some hiccups along the way. We love your children like our own, and we will do our best to make sure you have everything you need.
