Have heard the news? The Arkansas Department of Education named 10 schools in PCSSD as "schools on the move" in its latest report. Congrats to CATO, COLLEGE STATION, DAISY BATES, HARRIS, PINE FOREST, SHERWOOD and SYLVAN HILLS ELEMENTARY as well as MAUMELLE, ROBINSON and SYLVAN HILLS MIDDLE. These schools made significant progress on their Public School Ratings and ESSA School Index Reports.

Nearly a dozen PCSSD schools have earned the designation of “certified” from AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination). One additional school has been designated as “emerging schoolwide.”
